Marion has a very diverse religious community, with churches, organizations and services for many different faiths. The various religions co-exist together in our community, frequently working together on community projects and helping the needy through outreach programs such as the Ministerial Alliance

Through the Ministerial Alliance Emergency Fund, congregational food programs and volunteers, this assistance is offered as immediate aid in the form of emergency food, gasoline, a single night's lodging or as long term assistance through referral help by working with the individual or family putting them in contact with other services already in place in the community.
